Box, Inc. (NYSE:BOX) shares were trading more than 12% higher Wednesday afternoon, following the company’s reported Q3 results, with EPS coming in at $0.22, beating the consensus estimate of $0.21. Quarterly revenue grew 14% year-over-year to $224 million, above the consensus estimate of $219 million.
Analysts at RBC Capital raised their price target on the company’s shares to $21 from $19, mentioning that they came out of the quarter incrementally positive on the company with Suites traction and improved NRR driving another quarter of revenue accel.
On the negative side, the disconnect between billings and revenue is a concern, and the analysts at RBC Capital have doubts about the sustainability of revenue growth (especially as comps get tougher) together with meaningful margin expansion.
