Fed Still Sees Several Rate Hikes Despite Russia-Ukraine Situation

Jerome Powell, chairman of the U.S. Fed, shared his remarks on the current situation as a result of Russia invading Ukraine, mentioning that the implications for the U.S. economy are unpredictable and they will be closely monitoring the situation.

Despite the inconstancy, Powell said he continues to see interest rate hikes starting in March, with a number of quarter-point percentage increases.
