NICE (NASDAQ:NICE) reported its Q2 results, with EPS of $1.86 coming in better than the Street estimate of $1.79. Revenue was $530.6 million, beating the Street estimate of $525.01 million. Revenue beat was mainly due to Cloud growth, and Product revenues declining less than expected. Gross and operating margins edged higher by 30bps/70bps to 73.3%/29.0%, respectively.
The company expects Q3/22 EPS to be in the range of $543-$553, compared to the Street estimate of $545.00. Quarterly revenue is expected in the range of $1.82-1.92 million, compared to the Street estimate of $1.84 million.
The analysts at Oppenheimer believe the company can be a market share taker of legacy on-premise vendors with its leading cloud-based enterprise CC/workforce. Negatively, the cloud is cannibalizing some of its own legacy business, which should decline 5% through next year, compared to a 27% growth in the cloud.
