Tesla Review Following Q3 Delivery Numbers

Daniel Ives from Wedbush provided company report on Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) following the company’s announced Q3 delivery numbers.

The company delivered 241,000 vehicles during the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of 221,000 and even the bull case whisper numbers, which ranged from 225,000 to 230,000.

According to the analyst, the outperformance during the quarter was driven by robust Model 3/Y sales of 232,000 (vs. Street of 211,000) and Model S/X of 9,000 (vs. Street of 10,000). Total production in the quarter was 238,000 and was roughly 10,000 ahead of Wedbush’s and Street estimates.

The analyst believes in the month of September alone Tesla delivered roughly 150,000 vehicles and is a vivid sign of “this green tidal wave taking hold for Musk & Co” across the board. He believes China demand rebounded in the quarter and will be a focus for the bulls digesting these results.
