Following the charging of Kranken, the major cryptocurrency exchange, The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) started to go after 14 trading platforms, which claim to offer crypto-related investments.
These platforms exhibit signs of scams, such as using identical websites, forcing the users to pay for joining the platform before the start of trading, and claim to be regulated. These 14 platforms either failed to register with the CFTC or the claims they make on their websites show signs of scams.
