Top 10 Split Trust is an equity mutual fund launched and managed by Strathbridge Asset Management Inc. It invests in public equity markets of Canada. The fund invests in the stocks of companies operating across the financial sector. It uses SSO covered call writing strategy to invest in the securities of 6 banks namely, Bank of Montreal, the Bank of Nova Scotia, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, National Bank of Canada, Royal Bank of Canada, the Toronto-Dominion Bank and 4 insurance companies namely, Great-West Lifeco Inc., Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc., Manulife Financial Corporation, Sun Life Financial Inc. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the S&P/TSX Composite Index. The fund was formerly known as First Premium U.S. Income Trust. Top 10 Split Trust was formed on January 22, 1997 and is domiciled in Canada.
