FMP's Income Statement API provides access to real-time income statement data for a wide range of companies, including public companies, private companies, and ETFs. This data can be used to track a company's profitability over time, to compare a company to its competitors, and to identify trends in a company's business.

About Income Statements

The income statement, also known as the profit and loss statement, shows a company's revenue, expenses, and net income over a period of time. It is one of the three core financial statements, along with the balance sheet and cash flow statement. The FMP Income Statement API provides access to income statements for a wide range of companies, including public companies, private companies, and ETFs.The API provides real- time data, so investors can get the latest income statement data as soon as it is available. This endpoint can be used to track a company's profitability over time, to compare a company to its competitors, and to identify trends in a company's business.Investors can also use the income statement data to calculate financial ratios, such as the price - to - earnings ratio(P / E ratio) and the gross margin.
