In addition, it constructs rail and rail-based systems; oil and gas pipelines and storage tank terminals; water and water treatment plants; power generation, transmission, and distribution projects; and industrial construction projects. The company was formerly known as Maytas Infra Limited and changed its name to IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited in January 2011. IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited was incorporated in 1988 and is based in Hyderabad, India.
