The company was incorporated in 1962 and is headquartered in New York, New York. On May 15, 2022, Pareteum Corporation, along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
