Fluence Energy (NASDAQ:FLNC) Price Target Cut Amid Class Action Lawsuit

  • Truist Financial lowered its price target for Fluence Energy (NASDAQ:FLNC) to $8.00 from $10.00.
  • The stock is currently trading at $5.90, near the low end of its 52-week range.
  • Fluence Energy is also facing a securities class action lawsuit regarding its manufacturing operations and revenue guidance.

Fluence Energy makes energy storage systems used to manage electricity supply, including for customers with growing power needs such as data centers. Christopher Souther of Truist Financial lowers his price target for FLNC to $8.00 from $10.00. At the cited price of $5.90, the new target is about 35.60% higher.

A price target is an analyst’s estimate of where a stock may trade, not a guaranteed return. The cut reduces Souther’s estimate by $2.00 per share. FLNC is up $0.04, or 0.73%, at $5.90, near the low end of its $5.67 to $33.51 range over the past year.

FLNC also faces a securities class action over statements about its manufacturing operations, revenue guidance and ability to meet demand from data centers. As highlighted by PR Newswire, the complaint alleges that earnings disclosures conflicted with earlier assurances and erased roughly $3.00 billion in market value. The allegations have not been proven.

The case covers investors who acquired FLNC securities between Nov. 24, 2025, and Sept. 16, 2026. Hagens Berman says it is investigating potential federal securities-law violations. Investors have until Nov. 27, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff, the shareholder chosen to represent the group in court.
