Ukraine to Legalize Bitcoin

Bitcoin USD (BTC-USD) lost 2 % today, after a turbulent week. The latest major news affecting Bitcoin price is Ukraine’s parliament's adoption of a new law that legalizes and regulates cryptocurrencies, a bill that was passed on Wednesday and is expected to be signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Ukraine becomes the fifth country to set up ground rules for cryptocurrencies following El Salvador’s move to adopt bitcoin as the national currency, but not going as far as El Salvador, which adopts the cryptocurrency as legal tender allowing businesses to accept bitcoin along with the US dollar.
