On September 24, 2025, Roth Capital upgraded Uranium Energy Corp (AMEX:UEC) to a "Buy" rating, with the stock priced at $13.77. Roth Capital also increased the price target from $11.50 to $16. UEC is a key player in the uranium industry, focusing on mining and production, with significant operations in the United States.

UEC's recent Annual Report for the fiscal year ending July 31, 2025, highlights a transformative period for the company. UEC has successfully initiated uranium production in Wyoming and is on the verge of starting operations at Burke Hollow in Texas. The establishment of the U.S. Uranium Refining and Conversion Corp positions UEC as the only vertically integrated uranium company in America, covering the entire process from mining to planned conversion.

A major milestone for UEC was acquiring Rio Tinto's Sweetwater Complex, which has become UEC's third U.S. hub-and-spoke production platform. This acquisition has expanded UEC's licensed capacity to 12.1 million pounds of U₃O₈ annually, solidifying its status as the largest U.S. uranium company by estimated resources and licensed production capacity.

Operationally, UEC has ramped up production, achieving approximately 130,000 pounds of precipitated uranium and dried and drummed U₃O₈ by July 31, 2025. The company has managed to keep production costs low, with a total cost per pound of $36.41, including a cash cost of $27.63 and a non-cash cost of $8.78. This efficiency is attributed to the successful commissioning of the Irigaray Central Processing Plant, which processed 26,421 pounds of U₃O₈ in fiscal 2025.

Currently, UEC's stock price is $13.77, reflecting a slight decrease of 0.58% or $0.08. The stock has fluctuated between $13.12 and $15.05 today, with $15.05 being its highest price over the past year. The lowest price in the past year was $3.85. UEC has a market capitalization of approximately $6.12 billion, with a trading volume of 27.9 million shares today.
