The investment seeks as high a level of current income exempt from federal, New York state and New York city income taxes as is consistent with the preservation of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in municipal bonds that provide income exempt from federal, New York state and New York city income taxes. It may invest up to 20% of its assets in municipal bonds rated below investment grade ("high yield" or "junk" bonds) or the unrated equivalent as determined by the advisor. The fund is non-diversified.
