ETF Sector Exposure

The FMP ETF Sector Exposure endpoint provides a measure of how much of an ETF's performance is attributable to each sector. This information can be used by investors to understand the drivers of an ETF's performance and to identify ETFs that are more or less sensitive to specific sectors. For example, an investor may want to invest in an ETF that has a high exposure to the technology sector if they believe that the technology sector is likely to outperform the overall market.
Investors can also use ETF sector exposure data to identify ETFs that are hedged against certain sectors. For example, an investor may want to invest in an ETF that has a negative exposure to the energy sector if they believe that the energy sector is likely to underperform the overall market.
