WisdomTree Emerging Markets High Dividend Fund ETF offers a safer approach to investing in emerging market stocks with lower valuation and above-average dividend yield. The ETF has heavy exposure to markets like China and Taiwan, but less exposure to promising markets like Brazil, South Korea, and Indonesia. The ETF has a cheap valuation and attractive dividend yield, but investors should monitor the consistency of dividend distributions.

EM equities have outperformed recently, benefiting from a rise in China equities since January. I have a buy rating on the WisdomTree Emerging Markets High Dividend Fund ETF due to its improved relative strength, attractive valuation, and yield that's near 6%. DEM employs a dividend-weighted approach, potentially enhancing returns and reducing volatility compared to traditional asset allocation approaches.

Dividend stocks, including REITs and utilities, have underperformed in recent years. Rising interest rates and increasing costs of capital have contributed to the underperformance. The beginnings of a strong dividend stock rally may have just begun on the back of some very good news.

The WisdomTree Emerging Markets High Dividend Fund ETF offers a dividend of 5.51% and the potential for capital gains if emerging markets catch up with the US. The fund's high turnover rate impacts the stability of dividend payouts. Furthermore, the risks involved with emerging markets make me reluctant to hold this in my dividend portfolio.

In dollar terms, China is already the largest emerging markets dividend payer. But as highlighted by a dividend yield of 1.94% on the MSCI China Index, there's room for payout growth in the world's second-largest economy.
